about Lindsay Blair, Milton Keynes based content consultant

So, you want to know a bit more?

I love magazines (always have!) so it’s no surprise I turned my part-time hoarding of glossies into a full-time career.

Having been part of the UK publishing industry for more than a decade, I worked my way up to become the editor of Kitchens Bedrooms & Bathrooms magazine aged 28. You might say I didn’t hang around. But in the six years I was editor, I redesigning the brand, boosting its market presence across digital and event platforms, and launching and editing its successful online sister brand, thesethreerooms.com. I also went on to launch and host three series of the How To Buy A Kitchen Or Bathroom podcast, too, making it a truly multi-platform brand.

A little further back, I was consumer editor and then homes editor at Real Homes magazine and, if we’re doing the full run-down (oh, go on then!), prior to this I worked for fast-paced digital content agencies, cutting my teeth in writing online content for B2B and B2C clients. You might be thinking going from digital to print was a little backwards, but, I reckon I’ve come full circle because it’s all forms of content that form the base of a great brand, right?

I know what it takes to put together a cohesive brand with great content at its heart and get the best out of a project. Whether that’s a full-to-the-brim magazine, a website with showstopping editorial, a well-researched expert or style feature, a trend report, digital content or even a branded event to get like-minded people together.

I like to bring a people-first approach to projects – big or small – and with my editorial-focused view, can show off what you want to say in the best way.
