FAQ

  • It’s great! Although I would say that wouldn’t I? On a serious note, I’m very much a collaborator so feel it’s important to work together to get the best results, no matter the size of your project. I’ll take the time to chat, email or meet (whatever works best) to fully understand the needs and scope of a piece of work, offering ideas and discussing options. I’m a journalist by trade, so am not shy when it comes to asking questions. Having said that, give me a brief and I’ll work to that too. Fully flexible, in a good way.

  • As I mentioned above, I like a collaborative approach. However, for in-depth content strategy projects, I like to follow a more defined process. This typically involves a discovery call or meeting, research period, discussion of first insights/thoughts, honing and creation of assets required, presentation of next steps and the delivery of an action plan. We will agree to rounds of changes and arrange follow ups to check on progress. Depending on the project, I can also offer workshops and in-person meetings to develop content types, personas and content best practices.

  • Absolutely. If you know what you want already and need someone to put it together for you, drop me a line to get the ball rolling. Whether it’s a feature, expert guide, supplement or brochure, or even a discussion around a particular topic or shoot. I can use my know how and industry contacts to bring it all to life.

  • I’ll absolutely do my best to help. Simply let me know what you’re after and I will see what I can do. If I have time and capacity in my schedule, we may be able to work out a solution that works for both of us. You can only ask, right?

  • In Milton Keynes, just a short train ride from London and other major cities. I’m happy to travel and – obviously – am a pro at navigating roundabouts.

  • I trained as a journalist and have worked in the UK publishing industry for more than ten years. Before going freelance in 2023, I was the editor of Kitchens Bedrooms & Bathrooms magazine and its sister digital brand thesethreerooms.com, which I launched. You can find out more about my experience on my About page.
