There’s something lovely about getting away from a desk or screen and chatting. And I’ve often been called upon to host or sit on panel discussions to talk about an array of topics – from home design and working in magazines to how businesses can get their work featured in print.

With the popularity of live discussions and in-person events, I’ve hosted and appeared on panels as part of London Design Festival, Chelsea Design Quarter Springtime Sessions, kbb Birmingham, House & Garden Festival and the Bathroom Manufacturers’ Association Conference. This has seen me work with retailers such as Waterworks, Jensen Beds and BagnoDesign, among others.

Each gig presented something different. For example, I’ve played the host and interviewed designers about their work, I’ve single-handedly presented a seminar to a crowd, I’ve gathered experts from my contacts book to have an in-depth discussion on a particular topic and I’ve been the one answering the questions as an interviewee. A nice dose of variety, which I enjoy.

Plus, I’ve hosted webinars on all things home design and appeared as a guest on podcasts, including The Kitchen & Bathroom Design Podcast and The kbbreview Podcast.
