As the founding host of the How To Buy A Kitchen Or Bathroom podcast, I led 34 episodes from series one to three. I chatted to experts from across the kitchen and bathroom industry to advise consumers working on their home. The aim: to answer questions on anything from choosing the best hob and whether a freestanding bath is really worth it, to accessible bathroom design and how to design a kitchen perfect for entertaining…and more.

I launched the podcast in 2021, complete with marketing plan and cross-platform content schedule to maximise engagement. Using my well-established contacts book, I organised each guest and utilised digital channels and social media to survey consumers on what they really wanted to know about, helping to shape the direction for this brand offshoot and keep it current.

If you’d have asked me when I started out as a print journalist whether you’d hear my voice broadcast across the likes of Spotify and Apple Podcasts, I’d have very likely have said no. But it’s one of the highlights of my career and testament to the fast-changing, multimedia content landscape we’re now a part of.
